Difficult but good

It is a good strategy game and some of the campaigns are difficult.

it cheats….

The settings on the system seem to be odd and the game will cheat to make sure it wins. You for example will attack a position with a full army of 12….and depending upon the needs of the computer it will decide whether to kill the the full compliment of the enemy or not. So basically its hard to win.

Terrible!

The game is really fun with the units and everything but its too hard! Make a difficulty slider! Oh wait you dont even really care about our reviews all you care about is money!

A lot of fun

This game is very fun and challenges you to use good strategy

Yea

Great strategy game for history lovers.

ol

this game entertains me but i agree that a difficulty slider is needed.

Dishonest game.

As Admiral Ackbar warns, "Its a trap!" The games version of a difficulty slider is in-game purchases that bolster your forces. Rather than a game that can be beaten with effort or eased with purchases, it is a game designed to be impossible with the original forces. The first scenario (Robin Hood) is the most difficult beginning I have ever encountered on iphone, console, or desktop. That is not intended as a compliment. You find yourself giving up in frustration. The damage system is also very poorly explained. Stay away. Invest your time and money in a more honest game.

Really close to awesome.

A little more flexibility in the supply/reinforcement system letting them appear in more places by allowing the construction of supply depots or the like would be welcome. Maybe theyre already in there, but I havent played that far in. Im having fun!

Turn of time limit in scenarios

Please turn of the turn limit in the scenarios. I get the point but totally ruins the fun.

Not bad or good

Just cool

Must Play!

Perfect for roadteips

Review

This is a good strategy game that offers more of a challenge then a lot of other strategy games on the store. The only problem is that it sometimes crashes but not too much.

2 stars only bc it was cool at first

Played for about 10 minutes and liked it, so I spent the 7 bucks to unlock all campaigns. Regret it. This would be worth playing if every scenario didnt have defeat conditions that were turn based. For instance you have to defeat the opponent or capture a certain province for a set number of turns, but only have 10 turns to accomplish this. If you dont you lose the battle. And since your opponent always starts off with 2x times the troops you do its impossible to do so. By the time you generate enough gold to buy more troops you lose the battle. Until this ludicrous and idiotic turn based defeat is fixed dont bother playing. Not worth the frustration.

STOP SPIKES

i finished all campains soo i went to do them again but they were twice as hard!! and i got slaughterd on the first level suggeston:put a bar on every campain where you can chose if you want it to be very easy, easy, medium, hard,or insane you coyld be facing a dumb ai next your facing a ai similar to a real army general

Really worth it!

Great game reminiscent of the Avalon Hill strategy games. I really enjoy it.

So much potential

Easy UI, fun pseudo historic strategy game set in the Middle Ages...so much potential! Its all ruined by mission difficulty (usually theres only one, well-timed path to victory) and how little you get before you have to pay.

Nice!

Quite hard strategy. Id like something like this.

Ok

Its a good app, except the enemy starts with more troops than you and most of the time it crashes

Best historical strategy game in the App Store!

This game beats Sid Meiers Civilization by a long shot! The game engine is amazing! You gotta get used to it but once you do, it becomes addicting!

Lame

Itd be great, if you didnt need to buy all of the levels. Theres like 3 levels you can play
