They really need to get rid of all these super expensive in app purchases or at a minimum make them affordable.. If I didnt have this over bearing feeling the whole time playing that Im getting extremely ripped off the game could be pretty fun..

I play tons of strategic games but nothing comes close to this game it is amazing if you need a real strategic war game get this game dont listen to the haters!

This game is fun but the bots have to many troops and u pretty much have to buy the special scenarios.

Cool turn based game for war fans

"Best strategy game" for mobile? Sure. But ever? No chance. Total War, Europa, Crusader Kings, and many others are way better. This is still good, for an app. I recommend it.

basic turn based strategy game.. fun and worthwhile

I saw a lot of fuss over this version with the IAPs over on the TA (TouchArcade) Forums. If you buy the Full or Premium version (currently $9.99), you get everything with NO IAPs. Game-wise, it has a look (and feel) of Risk to it on the surface. Yet, more is going on than simply that beneath the GUI. Although understanding the battle and unit concept is hard to grasp at first, it can become clear eventually. Once you get it, then the battles and unit choices make more strategic sense. I did have trouble understanding the unit specs. Here is what I got confirmed from the Devs: (Solitary) BLUE Shield icon = Defense | Crossed Swords icon (with two stats) = RED is Armored Units Attack & GREEN is Non-Armored Units Attack. This extra tidbit (not clearly included in the game help) should tie the information that IS given together and help you fight effectively in battle.

It said synchronizing but I waited an hour and it Id not do anything and I could not play.

Nine turns to take 25 territories and Paris? Thats stupid and annoying, a king wouldnt be like "ok lets fight in this war for a few months and no matter if were winning or not well quit" its ruining the game for me

There are always Various things to consider when considering such considerations.

Good game I like the maps I just wish they had ancient Rome I dont care about turn limits for this it makes it even more better!

The premium version is rubbish. Buy what you need like a man. The later campaigns are not possible without elite units. Bunch your armour. Good night and good luck.

Very challenging game but is definitely worth playing.

Its very strategic and requires you to think how to move and attack wisely, very entertaining but some missions seem overwhelming like the robbin hood mission, other than that its great

I got stomped by the computer. But I then I won at last turn. Would play again 10/10

Some of the upgrades and actual functions/strengths of units are a little confusing at first. But a fun game overall when you get the hang of it.

This is the game to have if you like using your brain to kick someones butt. If you are lazy and cant think this is NOT for you. Please add some upgrades they are great!
