The Viking wars expansion doesnt work when you purchase it! I just put money into this game for no reason!

I love the game and I spent $8 for all the campaigns but please make it where u can at least turn off the turn limit because Im not enjoying the game because I cant win with it and I use strategy but I cant do it and plz dont make this a waste of money!!

I enjoy turn based tactical war games and have played quite a few. I have had some enjoyment from this game, and given that, did purchase the campaigns. However, there are problems with the game that I feel I need to point out. I think the biggest problem for me is a fundamental lack of information. I think it is okay for some stuff to be done under the hood, but there is not enough info here for me to be making all the tactical decisions I need to make. For example, when you attack, all units take damage, but one random unit takes more. The thing is, you cant see which units took the damage. You see overall health bar for the stack, but there is no way to see individual unit health. Also, this really needs a pop up or something that explains a summary of the attack. Who died? They just disappear. Where did the units retreat to? I have to constantly investigate the unit stacks to find out. Another problem is the money grab. You get very little gold to purchase reinforcements during the battle. And also very few points for upgrades. I can afford maybe 2 reinforcements in a battle. And though there are lots of upgrade options, you can usually only afford 1 after each battle and the campaigns arent that long. You can, of course, get more if you pull out your wallet. Overall, I think if the game provided better info on the units and battles, I would consider it a pretty good game. However, I will be looking elsewhere for my strategy gaming.

The game itself is very fun, but the time limit is horrible. While playing, I would be one or two moves away from winning when I lose because of the time limit. If they got rid of that, the game would be very fun, and a lot more pleasurable. Instead of having to defeat the enemy while worrying about a time limit, players should just enjoy the game and see how long it takes for them to win. If the time limit must be kept, then at least make it a good bit longer. Other than the unfair amount of time the game gives players to win, I would say that this is a very good game. It is, without the time limit, worth the time and energy it takes to play.

Put $20 in upgrades for this game and they worked until the next round 20 minutes later. Total scam. This is one of those games that, even if you are a pro gamer, becomes impossibly hard too quickly. At least with all other difficult games out there, when you spend the $$$ for upgrades just so you can have the satisfaction of winning before going to bed - you get to enjoy the glory more than once (in fact endlessly)! Wish I read other reviews before sinking money into this. The game might have been cool otherwise.
